Carved in Stone edition by Fran Marian Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
For lovers of historical fiction set in the ancient world, Carved in Stone is highly recommended. The story set in 15th century B.C. Anatolia plunges the reader into the palace intrigue of the ancient Hittite Empire. The characters are believable and well-drawn, and the author weaves an interesting plot with plenty of twists and turns for the characters to stumble over. Informative and entertaining.
Fran Marian writes a great story. She has researched the Hittites and "knows her stuff ". The story is very informative and the characters she develops are realistic.
Our book club was lucky enough to have her as its speaker.
I would definitely recommend Carved in Stone and look forward to reading her previous books.
